Scope of work:
– Rear extension
– New downstairs bathroom
– Decoration of first floor
The purpose was to turn this couples house into a home for their new young arrival. It was important for the clients to establish a kitchen/living area with as much natural light as possible, but they wanted to establish a more of a traditional feel with the handmade kitchen and wood effect flooring but with a modern touch. Further warmth has been added through the addition of a poly-pipe underfloor heating system which keeps the space warm no matter the weather, allowing for comfort in any season.
A Warm Welcome Home in Brentwood
This Brentwood project was centred around creating a nurturing space for a growing family. The goal was to design a light-filled kitchen and living area that blended traditional elements with subtle modern touches, resulting in a space that could evolve with the family needs.
To bring this vision to life, we added a rear extension with large openings for natural light and fitted a handmade kitchen alongside wood-effect flooring to preserve a classic aesthetic. The space was modernised with underfloor heating powered by a poly-pipe system, ensuring consistent warmth and comfort throughout the year. Upstairs, the first floor was redecorated to align with the fresh, inviting feel of the renovated ground level.
